Upper Egypt Travel Guide
The river Nile flows from the south of Egypt down to the north where it meets the sea at the Mediterranean . As such the South of Egypt is referred to as Upper Egypt. It is much hotter and less fertile than its northern counterpart and the flora and fauna in this region are more African than Mediterranean.
